Pediatric Ophthalmology

Whether your child is having trouble seeing, has an injury that affects his or her vision, or requires medical treatment or surgery for an illness affecting the eyes, the experts at Bon Secours can help. Our Pediatric Ophthalmologists are physicians who have received specialized training in diagnosing, treating, and managing all children's eye problems.

Services may include:

  • Vision exams
  • Eyeglasses and contact lens prescriptions
  • Surgery, microsurgery, and laser surgery for problems such as weak eye muscles, strabismus (crossed eyes), wandering eyes, blocked tear ducts, retinal problems, and infections
  • Diagnosis and treatment of vision problems caused by diabetes, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and neurological diseases
  • Care for eye injuries
