Bon Secours St. Francis offers the latest in digital technology, including all-digital imaging, operating rooms of the future, patient rooms wired for the Internet, digital mammography, PET/CT and clinical imaging like echocardiograms, vascular and cardiac catheterization.
Cancer Care
The nearly 60,000-square-foot comprehensive Bon Secours Cancer
Institute at St. Francis offers services in radiation, medical and
surgical oncology and provides diagnostic services, infusion therapy,
palliative care and patient/family education services.

Now the closest emergency room for many
residents in Chesterfield and surrounding communities, St. Francis has
21 private patient bays for your convenience and privacy.
General Surgery
All types of general surgeries are available at St. Francis, including
vascular procedures, laser and reconstructive surgery, plastic surgery,
eye surgery, ear/nose/throat surgery, neurosurgery, urological
procedures and orthopaedics. Six “Operating Rooms of the Future” give
surgeons, nurses and anesthesiologists use of the latest in medical
equipment and technology, allowing for more efficient surgery, and
giving patients more time in recovery.
Neonatology
Neonatology at Bon Secours St. Francis provides the most advanced
equipment and technologies available for the hospital’s tiniest
patients. Infants receive round-the-clock nursing care, and parents,
whether in the hospital or at home, can watch, too. BonSecoursNICU.net, a
trademarked communications technology, makes it all happen. Bon Secours
Richmond is the first hospital system in Virginia and among the first
hospitals in the U.S. to provide this breakthrough technology.
Orthopaedics
Joint replacement and sports medicine surgical care are available
through our team of surgeons, nurses and rehabilitation therapists who
provide surgical services for adults and children.
Outpatient Surgery
The Surgery Center has four all-digital, state-of-the-art outpatient
surgical suites, and guests have the ease of parking right at the front
door. The Medical Office Building is directly connected to four floors
of the hospital, also making it convenient for patients, physicians and
staff. Close to 200 physicians are now affiliated with the Surgery
Center.
Pediatric Care
Services for children at St. Francis include 24-hour emergency care,
radiology, surgery, orthopaedics and oncology.
Women's Services
Women’s services at St. Francis include a full spectrum of obstetrical,
