Khalid Karim, MD

Dr. Karim received his medical degree from the University of Sindh in Pakistan, and postgraduate training at Royal Infirmary in Glasgow, Scotland. He then moved to the United States and completed his residency training at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pa. Dr. Karim is board certified in internal medicine with additional training in geriatrics, palliative care, hospice and wound care. He has been providing care for seniors at nursing homes and assisted living facilities and to homebound patients for more than 14 years. He currently serves as medical director of Parham Rehabilitation Center, Hanover Rehabilitation Center, Covenant Woods and Haven Assisted Living.

Carrie Pascoe, FNP

Carrie Pascoe, certified family nurse practitioner, graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She recently moved from the Detroit area, and comes to us with over ten years of experience in geriatrics as a nurse practitioner. 

Tahir Khan, MD

Dr. Khan received his M.B.B.S and Bachelor of Science degree from Quaid-E-Azam Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency from Temple/Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Khan completed his general surgery fellowship from Pakistan College of Physician and Surgeons. Dr. Khan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Angella Russell, APRNBC

Angella Russell, nurse practitioner, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Howard University. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and Adult/Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Massachusetts. Ms. Russell is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult/Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner.

Megan Foege, DNPc, FNP-C, MSN, BSN, APRN

Megan Foege, nurse practitioner, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing , Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms. Foege is pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Old Dominion University and will complete her capstone study on nurses' self-efficacy regarding inpatient falls in patients 65 years and older in May 2016. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP), Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association ( GAPNA), Virginia Geriatrics Society (VGS), American Nurses Association (ANA), Virginia Nurses Association (VNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key International Society.

Lynn Simpkins, NP

Lynn Simpkins, our nurse practitioner, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Virginia. In addition, she received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia. Ms. Simpkins is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
