Overview
Bon Secours offers a voluntary and individualized drug and alcohol treatment program that provides medical detox for people struggling from abuse of, addiction to, or dependence on prescription drugs, street drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and/or alcohol.
Our program provides:
- A 7-Day medical detox program that medically treats the symptoms of substance withdrawal for individuals age 18 and older
- 24-hour nursing care and structured daily program
- Intensive group therapy on a variety of topics to include personal triggers, cravings, family issues, depression/anxiety, and relapse prevention planning
- Individual counseling
- Interdisciplinary treatment planning and case management
- 12-Step meetings incorporated into the program
- Family, group and conjoint family therapy as needed
- Education on medication, nutrition, pain management, wellness, coping skills and communication
- Activities therapy
- Discharge planning

- Is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
- Provides all-private patient rooms and bathrooms located in a secure unit
