Have you ever imagined a career in the operating room?

Bon Secours Richmond Surgical Services Education Department offers a unique opportunity for nurses to learn O.R. skills on the job through an internship program. The Periop 101 course, affiliated with AORN and related resources, is offered three times a year. The facilitators teach classroom and hands-on skills that are essential to perioperative nursing. The 26-week course allows the nurse intern to learn in the clinical setting with coaching from the Education team and qualified staff. Upon completion, the nurse will then move to an available perioperative nurse position in one of the local facilities in Richmond.

If you are a Registered Nurse or a recent graduate and have an interest in perioperative nursing contact one of the members of our education team. We will be more than happy to answer your questions about this exciting opportunity.
