Dr. Sherrod is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Sherrod is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. He is a native of Virginia and practices for 20 years at a rural family practice, then went to the University of North Carolina’s Department of Family Medicine, where he established a Sports Health & Injury Clinic. Dr. Sherrod enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his grandchildren.
