
The St. Mary’s Hospital Primary Stroke Center is designed, developed and governed by the Neuroscience Clinical Practice Group. This interdisciplinary group of physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians, managers and administrative directors from all related departments has full oversight of the stroke program.
The NCPG also approves, designs and guides all related performance improvement and research projects related to neuroscience programs, including current original research into dysphagia screening, DVT assessment and screening tool development.
This team is comprised of experts in neurology, rehabilitation & nursing research; with members who have presented and published original content both regionally and nationally.
