Critical Care

Patients who are critically ill are treated in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  A dedicated specially-trained team of doctors and nurses closely monitor patients, caring for them around the clock. Patients and their families can find comfort in the quality and compassionate care they will receive. Our dedicated staff will communicate with patients and family members keeping them informed about every step of their care.

Our ICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and Bon Secours Baltimore Health System is the only hospital in the city that has a robotic computer in its ICU. The robot allows our doctors to monitor patients even when the physician is away from the hospital. This technology helps doctors and nurses provide the very best care for very sick patients.

A family waiting room is available for family members to comfortably gather between visiting hours.

Chaplains from our Pastoral Care department are on hand to meet with family members to provide support.
