I received my medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. My residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine was in obstetrics/gynecology. I went on to complete a fellowship at University of South Florida College of Medicine in gynecology oncology. I am double Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

| January 2024 I have a very rare genetic mutation that causes cancer. This is the first time in the five years I've been receiving treatment that the doctor actually researched and read up on the medical research BEFORE my appointment instead of just saying "I've never heard of this". It was nice that the doctor was prepared and took the time to understand the research so he could make recommendations to me. |
