Dr. Daniel-Saunders is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and a member of The American College of Physicians.
She attended medical school at The University of The West Indies, Jamaica from 1986 to 1991. Following this she worked in Nassau at the Princess Margaret Hospital. She pursued her Residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine, Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Following Residency, she moved to Greenville, South Carolina in 2001.
Over the 17 years of practicing medicine, she has grown to perceive it as a vocation of service. Having had the experience of working with the under served and in private practice as well as in the hospital setting, she feels well prepared to meet the needs of her patients. She is thrilled to be in a profession which allows her the unique opportunity to help others pursue their health and well-being in many different aspects of life - social, physical, emotional and spiritual. She is committed to continuous pursuit of increasing and improving her knowledge to better serve her patients.
She is particularly interested in preventive care and health maintenance, early diagnosis and management of diseases, especially chronic conditions like Diabetes Mellitus, Hyperlipidemia and Hypertension.
She always aims to help someone in some way to make it a better day, one day at a time, despite what life 'throws at you'.
