Biography

J. Mark Lawson, MD, a board certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician, earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and a Gastroenterology fellowship while serving as a Naval Officer at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, with special training in E.R.C.P (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Lawson is a Fellow both in the American College of Physicians, as well as the American College of Gastroenterology. 

 

A member of Gastrointestinal & Liver Specialists team for over a decade, Dr. Lawson's special treatment interests include inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic and biliary disorders, as well as liver disease.
