  • St. Mary’s Hospital is a designated Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons and has held this honor since 1975.
  • Memorial Regional Medical Center is designated as a Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons.
  • The MRMC Breast Imaging Center is accredited and designated as an American College of Radiology Breast Center of Excellence for meeting requirements in mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic and ultrasound breast biopsy procedures.
  • St. Mary’s Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center and Memorial Regional Medical Center have earned ANCC Magnet Recognition, a designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center that recognizes only those hospitals and health care organizations that provide nursing excellence. Only 5 percent of the hospitals in the United States have achieved ANCC Magnet Recognition status.
