We believe that individuals with dementia can have a happy, meaningful life in an environment that is specifically created to foster their independence. At Bon Secours St. Petersburg, we offer specialized dementia care at Bon Secours Maria Manor, our skilled nursing facility, and Bon Secours Place, our assisted living residence.
In both St. Petersburg locations, dementia care is provided in a secure environment by trained caregivers who encourage optimum independence. Recreational therapy and pastoral care programming is adapted to the residents’ cognitive abilities. Activities provided include creative & fine arts, Tai Chi, pet therapy, storytelling, horticulture, and inspirational music. A secured and covered outdoor garden and walking path is conveniently accessible for short-term patients, long-term residents and visitors.
