We are excited to announce that the new Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center will open to patients second quarter of 2025.

Our new three-story, 100,000 square foot addition will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus, creating a new medical center and including expansion of current services offered, integrating the established free-standing emergency department, imaging center and lab into a comprehensive medical facility.

Most notably, our new medical center will include 18 private inpatient rooms and four new operating rooms. Patients needing surgery, such as a hip or knee replacement or bariatric surgery, and many other same day or overnight surgeries will be able to do so at Harbour View Medical Center. Each of our surgery pre-op and recovery spaces are private rooms and designed to create a comfortable environment where our team of expert nurses will care for you before and after your procedure.

Residents will be able to receive hospital and surgical care in the community in which they live, without the need to travel to another city. And for more acute care needs, patients will have access to the Bon Secours Hampton Roads network of hospitals and care centers.

Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center will join other hospitals in the Bon Secours Hampton Roads market including Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, and Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center in Franklin.
