Bon Secours continues to monitor the weather and water-related issues that the City of Richmond and surrounding counties are experiencing, and we are regularly adjusting as our hospital facilities across the Bon Secours Richmond market are impacted.
On Monday, January 6th, Bon Secours Richmond immediately activated a market-wide incident command that remains in effect, and we are working collaboratively with our Bon Secours sister hospitals across the market to continue caring for our patients during this time. Clean water is critical to our daily operations and patient care. We are continuing to work closely with City, County and State officials to restore water service as quickly as possible, while also exploring all options for sourcing external water solutions.
The safety and well-being of our patients, visitors and staff are our top priority. We’d like to thank all of our leaders and caregivers for their flexibility and continuing to provide quality, compassionate care for our patients despite these unexpected challenges. We also appreciate the patience and understanding of the community as we continue to adjust to meet the needs of our patients and ensure we are keeping our patients at the center.
Keep checking back here for the latest updates on how our hospitals and facilities are being impacted.
