Bon Secours Price Estimation Tool
Cost is often one of the last things discussed when you're seeking medical care. That uncertain, but essential, detail can cause more stress in an already stressful situation.
Fortunately, you can now get a rough idea of your out-of-pocket costs for hundreds of our common services using our Price Estimation Tool.
This way, you should have a better understanding of what you can expect before beginning treatment or having a procedure.
What is included in an estimate?
The estimates you'll see can include:
- Common hospital services
- Materials and supplies
- Necessary support services
- Some physician services
However, estimates may not include costs that can come from items like additional imaging, some physician services (e.g., anesthesiology, radiology) and more. These services are often billed separately from the hospital.
How accurate are estimates?
We make every effort to provide accurate estimates to our patients. Yet, there are a lot of factors that contribute to the final cost of a procedure or treatment. Because of the additional factors, an estimate is not a quote or guarantee. The actual price you pay may be higher or lower than the estimate.
If insurance information is included within this estimate, it is based on information provided by your insurance company at the time the estimate is made. Please contact your insurance company to confirm how your costs will be calculated.
What will I need?
Please have your health insurance policy information on hand to ensure an accurate estimate is provided. Following a series of questions, you will receive a price estimate that you can print and bring with you to the hospital.

What about Medicare and Medicaid?
Medicare and Medicaid pay hospitals according to a set fee schedule. It represents a discount from a hospital’s billed charges. Numerous factors, such as co- insurance and deductibles affect your own financial responsibility. A summary of Medicare patient payment requirements is provided at Medicare.gov.
The average total covered charges for each hospital by Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Group (MS-DRG) for Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries can also be found at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
