new hopeBon Secours New Hope Treatment Center has been rooted in west Baltimore for several decades and was one of the first Substance Abuse Treatment Programs funded by Behavioral Health Systems Baltimore, to provide Methadone as a form of pharmacotherapy treatment to adult men and women diagnosed with a substance use disorder.

new hope4Our target population is predominantly African American adult men and women diagnosed with a substance use disorder.  New Hope is located in the Poppleton Community of west Baltimore, and since it’s early inception in the early 1970’s New Hope has been a provider of substance abuse treatment services.  New Hope was initially called the West Ins Detox Rehabilitation Center, and in 1973 was changed to New Hope Treatment Center.  The Center has partnered with the Fayette Street Community Outreach Association and Frederick Elementary School in order to strengthen community engagement and effectively address community issues and concerns. Clinical and Medical staff also spearhead a “Back to School” supply drive, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas basket give away during the holiday season to their most needy families.
