I attended medical school at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. Afterwards, I completed both an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. I truly enjoy helping my patients with cardiovascular disease restore their health and wellbeing. I consider myself fortunate to practice cardiology in the upstate of South Carolina.

	September 2023 Dr. Stewart is absolutely amazing. I have seen many doctors during my 23 years of having MS. He is by far the most concerned about treatment, explaining in detail the "whys" of each course, and is very knowledgeable about each area I am dealing with right now (POTS, MS, and HBP). My husband and I left his office feeling more confident with him than we have in a long time. He is the person I have been needing and I feel God-led to him for help. Having a Dr who makes suggestions versus one who tells you this is important! (And explains why), makes a world of difference in patient care. I left that visit feeling empowered and not frustrated as I have with others.
