As a Bariatric and General Surgeon, I enjoy taking care of a wide variety of patients. I chose to practice general surgery because of the many different conditions I am able to treat and help provide a more definitive fix to medical conditions. Bariatric/weight loss surgery is my passion because I empower patients to make a positive change in their own lives, and I provide the tool that is the catalyst for that change.

| January 2025 Dr. Deters clearly understood my problem (hernia) and gave me a thorough examination & explanation of options for treatment, risks and benefits of surgery, etc.My son and I were given her undivided attention in answering our questions (and we had many). We both felt like I was the only patient she had as she spent a great deal of time with us. I ultimately decided that the risks of repairing this hernia, at my age, was not my choice at this time. I was assured by Dr. Deters that she was available at any time I wished to see her in the future. She gave me her business card as well.During the entire time with Dr. Deters she was friendly and very personable and was very positive in her discussion of my health issues. I would definitely see her again. |
