Meet Michael
I’m a former Chief of Surgery of Bon Secours Hospitals and have been a surgeon for over 29 yrs. I’ve performed over 13,000 surgeries. I earned a BS and MS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and an MD at UVA. My contributions to surgical care are documented in over 40 published, peer-reviewed research publications and books. I'm the current principal investigator of a randomized prospective clinical trial registered with the NIH.
