Before attending medical school and becoming an orthopaedic surgeon, I worked for two years as a nurse tech in the operation room and intensive care unit. I completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Greenville Health System, and a foot and ankle fellowship at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis. I am married to an amazing wife, and we have two children. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and playing baseball.

	September 2024 Dr. Sims provided detailed answers to my many questions. I tend to ask probing questions - since I consider myself to be a co-manager of my own health care. Dr. Sims rolled into that scenario with friendly, professional gusto - going into (probably) more detail about my foot malady since my questions led in that direction. Each answer made perfect sense and the proposed path to remedy will be the bestest possible for my recovery and return to normal ambulation.
