I joined Bon Secours Liver Institute in 2010, and am proud to work with teams in Hampton Roads and Richmond in the care of our patients with liver disease including Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, fatty liver disease, primary biliary liver cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, cirrhosis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), liver cancer, and others. We also care for patients before and after transplantation.

	January 2024 This was a second opinion. Dr Shiffman listened to me and answered my questions clearly. He gave me a clear dx and "pulled all the 3 year medical history together" in a clear fashion. Smart man and also a good bedside manner. He and his NPs are my liver team now.
