I decided that I wanted to be a family physician when I was 11 years old. I received my Bachelor of Science from Clemson University. I received my medical degree from Michigan State University. I enjoy being a family physician because it gives me the opportunity to help educate my patients and help them understand their diseases. Sometimes just letting your patient know that you care and they are important to you can make an enormous difference.

	August 2023 Dr. Barksdale is an excellent doctor and explains everything.I also like the virtual visits for well checks because I'm disabled and have a lot of doctors appointments. It makes my life so much easier.

	July 2023 Dr Barksdale was her normal concern with my problems. She tried ordered my meds and gave me the choice of a shot or pills for chest inflammation. Sent to lab for blood 6 tubes. Had trouble getting my blood ,once she found a vien went good. Tina was helpful on setting up my next Dr appointment.
