I chose to enter primary care to build long-term doctor patient relationships. It's important to have a trusting relationship because if a medical issue arises a physician can adequately help a patient’s needs. It's rewarding to see patient success with a medical problem on their journey to achieve optimal health. I enjoy working at Bon Secours because it is a faith-based health system, and I believe faith is an integral part of healing.

	March 2024 Dr Mathias is excellent. He takes his time explaining all tests, labs, x-rays and procedures done since the previous physical. He even draws pictures to help with explaining anatomy and physiology. You are never rushed and he wants to make sure you understand any tests he orders and all results.
