Meet Zachary
I attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine before completing my internal medicine residency in Chicago. My fellowship in cardiology was completed at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. I truly enjoy helping my patients with cardiovascular disease restore their health and wellbeing. I consider myself fortunate to practice cardiology in the upstate of South Carolina.

| July 2024 Dr. Dowdy took the time to talk with me about a mutual interest in baseball; I appreciated the personal touch. When I described some minor symptoms, he concisely summarized correctly and stated verbally how he was expressing it in his notes. He proposed a slight change in one medication and discussed benefits and risks, as well as alternatives. I felt we made the decision together. |
