At Bon Secours, our hospice care teams provide emotional support and practical assistance when patients and their families need it most. We offer attentive, compassionate end-of-life care to improve comfort and quality of life.

Bon Secours hospice staff provide care to patients at home, in assisted-living or in nursing facilities. Our team includes specially trained and experienced physicians, nurses, certified nurse assistants, social workers, chaplains and volunteers.

Bon Secours Hospice is accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care.

Admission to Hospice

Bon Secours Hospice provides patients and families with comfort, dignity, understanding and support.

Your loved one may qualify for hospice care if they have:

  • A limited life expectancy of six months or less
  • Chosen to no longer seek or receive curative care

Cost of Hospice

Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and individuals may all pay for hospice care. The Medicare Hospice Benefit pays for many hospice services, including:

  • Medical supplies
  • Medical equipment
  • Respite care
  • Prescription medicines
  • Hospice services provided by nurses, doctors and nursing assistants
