More than 80 disorders of sleeping and waking can result in diminished quality of life and health, and more than one-third of all adults suffer from some sleep disruption. Our comfortable, sleep centers at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center and Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center are designed to evaluate and treat people with sleep disturbances or sleep-related problems.
The team of experts behind the sleep program includes a comprehensive collection of neurologists, board certified in sleep medicine, pulmonologists specializing in lung diseases and sleep medicine, and even weight loss and pain management specialists. We offer a variety of diagnostic and treatment options for acute and chronic disorders.
All sleep disorder diagnoses begin with a sleep evaluation done by a board-certified specialist. This may lead to an overnight sleep study and/or a Multiple Sleep Latency Test, a series of daytime sleep trials. Some patients may require two sleep center visits for an accurate diagnosis.
Bon Secours Hampton Roads sleep centers have been recognized for their quality and are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
