OLBH offers support to residents of the Tri-State through its variety of support groups. Alcoholic's Anonymous (AA), an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem, offers a forum for members to share experiences. AA gives person-to-person service or "sponsorship" to the alcoholic. The group meets weekly at the Bellefonte Behavioral Health Center on Sundays at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m.; Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.
Al-Anon helps families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with problem drinking. The group meets each Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at the Bellefonte Behavioral Health Center.
A.W.A.K.E Group is a health awareness group for people with sleep apnea, their family members, and friends. The group is a part of the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well, And Keeping Energetic) Network.
The purpose of these sessions is to provide support to all of us through education and sharing of ideas and information among persons who are affected by sleep disordered breathing. Together we can help each other with similar interests, problems, and solutions.

The Better Breathers support group provides an opportunity to meet and share experiences, to ask questions and to learn how to develop a better quality of life. The group operates with the following objectives:
To provide support and encouragement through sharing and interaction.
To help overcome some of the day-to-day activities of living with chronic lung disease.
To foster health understanding.
To provide recreational activities.

Breast Cancer Support Group
OLBH’s breast cancer support group meets monthly at Bellefonte Centre (1000 Ashland Drive). Each month a new topic is presented to those whose lives have been affected by a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Diabetes - youth
The OLBH Diabetes & Wound Care Center’s Camp Quest is a support group for children with either diabetes or asthma. The support group meets periodically throughout the year for educational offerings, activities and support for children and their families living with diabetes and asthma.

Man to Man Prostate Support Group
The Man – to – Man Prostate Cancer Support group is an educational and support group for men who have prostate cancer, have fought in the past, and for those interested in learning more about the disease. Man to Man is a free support group that is conducted by members of the community with a guest speaker attending each month. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month. OLBH offers a free, eight-week tobacco cessation program using the American Cancer Society's Freshstart Program. The hospital's tobacco cessation group meets Fridays at 6 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks (excluding holidays).
