2022 Free Colorectal and Prostate Screenings
Free Prostate and Colorectal Screenings are available in 2022 through the Bon Secours African American G.A.C.E. Clergy Initiative. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month! The CDC reports that African American men are more likely to get prostate cancer than other men and are also more than twice as likely to die from prostate cancer. AA males between the ages of 45 - 69 years old and those who are 40 + years old are encouraged to get screened. There are two dates available in September on 9/20/22 and 9/29/22 to get screened via a blood draw test on the Bon Secours Mobile Medical Van. Colorectal kits for specimen samples will also be available.
