Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center at St. Francis Downtown

The Bon Secours Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center was formed in 2018 to provide the upstate region with high quality, compassionate cerebrovascular and stroke care. We believe in patient centered care and transparency, as well as collaboration with care teams and the community.

After Bon Secours Saint Francis began treating stroke patients in 2013, it became clear that the community needed expanded stroke care and services to meet their needs. The Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center was created to further our mission to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus by improving the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those in need.

The Bon Secours Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center has been providing top tier stroke care in Greenville, which has been recognized through awards in excellence. In 2019, the center received the Target Stroke Elite Plus and the Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus awards from the American Heart Association. We will strive to up hold our mission as we go forward and continue to build this program.
