Dr. Vipal Sabharwal received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. He completed his medical degree at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Sabharwal then moved to Richmond and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Medical College of Virginia. He is the former chief of staff at St. Francis Medical Center, and is currently director of medical services at St. Mary's Hospital and Cardiovascular Associates of Virginia at Reynolds Crossing.
Dr. Sabharwal practices clinical, nuclear, invasive and noninvasive cardiology. He has a special interest in valvular heart disease, nuclear cardiology and congestive heart failure. Dr. Sabharwal has been voted Best Doctor was voted Richmond Magazine in 2011 and 2014. He finds Richmond a great place to live and raise a family.
