Dr. David Leszczyszyn is a board-certified pediatric neurologist and board-certified sleep medicine specialist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in biochemistry from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He also obtained his medical degree from Indiana University. Continuing his training, Dr. Leszczyszyn completed a residency in neurology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and fellowships in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia.
Prior to joining Bon Secours, Dr. Leszczyszyn held positions as an associate professor of neurology and pediatrics, a program director for a child neurology fellowship, and a medical director for a pediatric sleep laboratory. He is a member of the Child Neurology Society, American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Virginia Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Leszczyszyn has received several awards and honors including the Top Docs recognition from Richmond Magazine in multiple years. He has provided significant contributions to many research studies and contributed to numerous publications and abstracts.
