Dr. Tanuj Saaraswat attended medical school at King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, India. He completed his medical internship from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed his neurology residency from the University of Louisville where he was also the Chief Resident. Also, Dr. Saaraswat completed a year-long neurophysiology minifellowship from the University of Louisville. Dr. Saaraswat is board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
Dr. Saaraswat has publications in peer reviewed journals, a book chapter and has presented at several conferences including the American Academy of Neurology meeting. He performs EMGs and botulinum toxin injections. On several occasions he has delivered lectures to medical students. Dr. Saaraswat is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He sees patients with a whole range of neurologic issues.
In his spare time he enjoys reading and learning about history, traveling, meditation and yoga.
