Welcome to the Bon Secours Wound Care Center. Our Centers are staffed with a unique team of highly trained medical and nursing specialists who are dedicated to treating your wound using the most up-to-date treatments and technologies available. At two convenient locations, we are dedicated to healing wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment and treating you with Bon Secours' quality and compassionate care.

At any given time, almost six million Americans suffer from problem wounds. There are many different types of wounds, and some associated with complications from diabetes and other related vascular disorders. Patient Information

What to expect on your first visit:

  1. Our team of physicians and nurses will first inquire about your medical history, allergies, medications and any pertinent test results.*
  2. Next will be a full examination and assessment of your wound(s).
  3. Upon completion of your evaluation your care team will lay out for you an individualized treatment plan.
  4. We will begin treatment and if necessary will schedule further testing to determine blood flow, tissue oxygenation and indication of infection.
  5. You will be seen on a regular basis by your wound care team to achieve success of your treatment.

*What to bring on your first visit:

  1. Insurance information.
  2. All medications you are currently taking.
  3. Any pertinent test results or x-rays.

Your Role in Healing

Much of the success of your treatment depends on you. We count on you to follow directions carefully and watch your progress closely. You’ll learn to care for your wound at home and how to protect yourself from further injuries. The staff at the Wound Healing Center is available to answer questions and give you the support you need.
