I am originally from Pittsburgh and admittedly enjoy the more temperate climate since relocating in 2002. I enjoy the close proximity to Washington, DC spending time with family visiting national museums and the zoo. I am board certified since 2000 and have a subspecialty in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. Conservative nonsurgical treatment is preferable for many conditions, however, surgical treatment is provided when necessary.

	November 2024 Was very, very concerned about solving the problem. We discussed several options. X Rays from the past and X Rays taken that day were discussed in details and I was allowed to ask questions and voice my concerns especially due to the fact that I am 81 years young!
	November 2024 Dr. Caines has always been amazing from the first day to today. He is very engaged and compassionate about the impact this injury has had on my daily activities. He provided me options in treatment in the early stages. After giving those options time we both realized surgery would be necessary. He worked with my schedule when moving forward with surgery knowing my family had a vacation in July. Overall, Dr. Caines is very kind and compassionate. He is very knowledgeable and will do what is best for the patient.
