I have a background in solid organ transplant that led to my particular interest in liver disease and caring for liver patients. Prior to joining Bon Secours Liver Institute of Richmond, I provided care for patients throughout the transplant journey in Boston, particularly pre-transplant. Outside of work I love time spent with my family (including my bloodhound), cooking, eating and Irish dance!

| July 2024 NP Rathburn is a true asset to your hospital and the ONLY medical professional whose expertise I truly trust. She sat down during my appointment which automatically gave the impression she was there for me and invested in a genuine patient interaction. Sitting down was followed up with caring and compassionate behaviors. NP Rathburn LISTENS to me and I believe she is my advocate. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make my healthcare journey easier and treats me as a person- not as a diagnosis or number. She is also timely in responding to mychart messages which is very important to me. Please recognize her on my behalf; if she ever goes to another organization within driving distance I will follow. |
