Meet Rebecca
I have a background in solid organ transplant that led to my particular interest in liver disease and caring for liver patients. Prior to joining Bon Secours Liver Institute of Richmond, I provided care for patients throughout the transplant journey in Boston, particularly pre-transplant. Outside of work I love time spent with my family (including my bloodhound), cooking, eating and Irish dance!

| March 2024 I can't say enough about how great Rebecca Rathburn has been to me-at EVERY appt I've had with her. She is patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. She makes me feel very comfortable, and I never ever feel rushed. She seems truly passionate about providing good medical care. She realizes that providing good medical care, sometimes involves kindness and patience and understanding. I'm not trying to be mushy, but Rebecca is that way. I guess the most important thing should be how knowledgeable she is and how well she explains things. She is super knowledgeable and willing to explain anything and everything I don't understand. I truly appreciate her being part of my care team. |
