Bon Secours Community Works

Since 1991, Bon Secours Community Works (BSCW) has been working to further the mission of the Sisters of Bon Secours through programs, services, and affordable housing designed to improve social determinates of health and uplift West Baltimore residents and families.

Located at the intersection of the Franklin Square, Boyd-Booth, and Fayette Street Outreach communities, BSCW serves an average of 3,000 community members annually.

Originally a part of Bon Secours Baltimore Hospital, BSCW has grown into a unique pillar of community support focused on the holistic needs of our clients. At the heart of our work is a commitment to and collaboration and long-term relationship building. We work side-by-side with residents and local leaders to establish solutions to the issues most affecting them.

We organize our efforts into three primary service delivery departments that are designed meet unique community needs: Economic DevelopmentYouth & Family Services, and Housing & Community Development.

In 2020, Bon Secours Community Works was recognized by the Baltimore Business Journal with a Better Baltimore Award acknowledging its positive impact on the city and its surrounding counties.
