Temporary Visitor Restrictions
The health and safety of our patients and community is Bon Secours’ top priority. To ensure a safe healing environment for our patients, we are allowing limited visitation at this time.
People with signs and symptoms of illness are not permitted to visit, including fever, cough, sore throat, and body aches. We recommend people who are high risk for severe illness (e.g., older adults, those with a serious underlying condition) do not visit at this time.
Thank you for your help in keeping our patients and community safe.
Hospital Visitation
General Restrictions
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are recommended, but no longer required, in our facilities. However, visitors should not visit patients if they have recently experienced a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19, a respiratory illness or other symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Visitation to nursing units and the Emergency Department may be further restricted due to patient census at the discretion of the department leader.
Visitation for COVID-19 patients and PUI of COVID:
There will be limited visitation for COVID-19 positive or PUI patients. Visitors must check-in with patient's assigned nurse before entering the room and agree to follow personal protective equipment guidelines, such as wearing an isolation gown, mask, and eye protection, in accordance with CDC guidelines and facility policy.
