As a department of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, the Harbour View Millie Lancaster Women’s Imaging Center is dedicated to inspiring women to take charge of breast health, reproductive health, osteoporosis and heart disease, the Millie Lancaster Women’s Imaging Center is a comfortable, caring place located at Health Center at Harbour View, 5838 Harbour View Blvd, Suite 210, Suffolk, Va.

As a convenient, high quality health center, the Millie Lancaster Women’s Imaging Center offers the full array of resources located on the Health Center at Harbour View Campus, including the breast health program’s streamlined assessment, and coordinated care, the services of a Breast health Navigator, a Diagnostic Breast Health Navigator, and the talents of the interdisciplinary Breast Medical Team.

The Bon Secours Breast Program is an Accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, with highly trained and certified Radiologists working side by side with skilled Technologists to provided Excellent service and outcomes. This program sets the highest standard for program development and quality improvement.


The Center offers the following services:

  • 3-D and digital mammography
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy
  • Ultrasound services with 3D scanning capabilities
  • Bone densitometry
  • Same-day walk-in appointments

Meet Millie Lancaster

 

Millie Lancaster is a long-time resident of Portsmouth and Nansemond County. She and her late husband Arthur “Junie” Lancaster started the historic Coleman Nursery’s Winter Wonderland in Churchland, and later established Lancaster Farms and Bennett’s Creek Wholesale Nursery in Suffolk, not far from Harbour View. Millie and Junie Lancaster have made countless contributions to their communities.

The Lancasters donated their million-dollar toy and train collection to the Children’s Museum of Virginia in Portsmouth for many generations of children to enjoy. Their gift to the Bon Secours Nursing Care Center in Suffolk made possible the Lancaster Spiritual and Educational Center. For their decades of civic leadership and philanthropic gifts, Millie and Junie Lancaster were honored by the Virginia General Assembly.
