MyChart Evisits - Convenient, quality care at your fingertips
An Evisit is an online visit with a primary care provider that can be used as an alternative to a traditional office visit for certain non-emergency conditions. This is a fast, affordable and secure way to receive an online diagnosis and treatment plan for common medical conditions.
Evisits are available through MyChart for any adult who currently has an established relationship with a Bon Secours primary care physician or advanced practice clinician.
By logging into MyChart and answering a series of questions, you can receive care from the comfort of home, work or any other location with internet access. A Bon Secours primary provider will review your Evisit answers, along with your medical record information, and recommend a treatment plan to you electronically through your Bon Secours MyChart account.
All Evisit communication occurs in writing through MyChart. There is no video or verbal contact between you and the primary care provider.
Non-emergency conditions we can treat virtually
For adult patients Bon Secours is now offering Evisits for non-urgent conditions like:
- General Medical Concern
- Flu Sinus
- Flu
- Back pain
- Diarrhea
- Urinary problems
- Heartburn
- Headache
- Rashes, including poison ivy
- Vaginal issues
- Pink eye
- Follow ups for allergies, insomnia and hypothyroid, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, anxiety and depression
Pediatric Patients
For pediatric patients ages 3-17 Bon Secours is now offering Evisits for non-urgent conditions like:
- Sinus, cold and cough
- Flu*
- Head lice
- Pink eye
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea*
- Swimmer’s ear*
*Available for pediatric patients 6+ years
Cost of Evisits
The charge for a MyChart Evisit is $36. Your insurance will be billed for this online service and coverage may vary.
Hours of Evisits
Evisits requested from your existing provider will be responded to within 24 hours.
