What to expect

During the 12-month program, the PGY1 pharmacy resident functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, with pharmacist preceptors offering oversight and mentorship.  As the resident gains experience and confidence, preceptors promote increased independence to prepare them for future practice. Rotation schedules and development plans are tailored to the resident’s career goals, strengths, and areas for growth, fostering their professional development and preparing them for the next steps in their pharmacy career.
