Sarah Garland Jones Center for Healthy Living

2600 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, Va 23223

The Bon Secours Sarah Garland Jones Center for Healthy Living was opened in 2017 as a place where Bon Secours could seek to partner with the community to influence social and environmental factors impacting health through engagement and strengthening partnerships by promoting physical, social, mental and spiritual well-being for all. Through a variety of age appropriate and subject-focused programming, the Sarah Garland Jones Center is a place to implement population health and workforce development programming for the community. We bring that vision to life by offering the following:

· Front Porch Café - operated by Churchill Activities and Tutoring, this café provides job training for young adults in Church Hill.

· Parsley’s Kitchen – is a place where community members and youth can take a hands-on approach to cooking and nutrition.

· Community Room – a meeting space for the community to use as needed, and a space that is also utilized for local events, group-based therapy, workforce readiness programs and community meetings. It is free for the community to book.
