Spiritual Care
To speak with a chaplain at our hospitals, please call one of the numbers listed below. For 24-hour Emergency service, please dial 804-287-PRAY[7729], and ask the operator to page the chaplain on call.

As a patient in our facility, your spiritual health and care are important to us.  Our chaplains are available to accompany you and your family during this time.  Patients may also receive visits from a rabbi, priest, minister, or clergy of any religious denomination or sect.  Please let our teams know if you would like to receive spiritual care from your faith community.  All individuals entering our facility will be required to comply with appropriate safety and infection prevention measures.

Designated Support Person
A patient with a disability, who requires support and assistance due to the disability, may elect to be accompanied by a designated support person during an admission.  However, such designated support person may be required to comply with all reasonable requirements of our facility, and be restricted to specific areas of the premises, to protect health and safety.  Our facility may request documentation indicating that a patient has a disability or perform an objective assessment if no documentation is provided.

Disclaimer: The link to the pricing guide provides a comprehensive list of costs associated with each inpatient and outpatient service provided by our hospitals. The chargemaster should not be used by patients to comparison shop before choosing which hospital to receive care from or to estimate the overall cost of health care services, as those prices can vary depending on coverage. For more information regarding the cost of your care, contact our financial counsel staff at 804-764-6829.

Led by our skilled psychiatry team, patients participate in groups, individual, and family therapy.
