Benefits and Compensation
Salary
Resident salaries are reviewed annually with the intent to align with the AAMC regional mean. The approved 2024-2025 resident salary is as follows:
- PGY1: $60,514
- PGY2: $62,779
- PGY3: $64,978

Paid Time Off
Residents receive a total of four weeks PTO during each year of training.
Academic Stipend
We’ll make every effort to support educational experiences with the approval of the program director to our residents.

- Moving expenses: Certain geographic moves may be supported at the program director's discretion.
- Meals: Lunch is provided daily during noon lectures, with additional accommodations available in the resident lounge. Adjustments will be considered based on the identified needs of the residents.
- Parking: Parking is provided at no cost to residents in a gated lot adjacent to the hospital and clinic.
- On-call quarters: Provided for each resident when on call and furnished with appropriate amenities.
- Educational benefits: ACP membership, MKSAP Board Review, True Learn Board Prep and COMLEX III or USMLE Step 3 registration cost of exam covered by residency program

Call Schedule
There will be call on inpatient rotations, not likely more frequent than Q4. There is no expectation of call on subspecialty rotations.
Average Hours a Week
All work hours are in compliance with ACGME rules. The ACGME states residents may not work greater than 80 hours per week averaged over a four-week rotation.
